Workshop: Exploring New Techniques in Watercolours

Workshop: Exploring New Techniques in Watercolours

Saturday 19th October

This workshop is led by artist Ruth Kirkby and involves practising a fresh approach to working with watercolours. Ruth is a botanical illustrator who has received gold and silver RHS medals for her work. She is very familiar with the rules of conventional watercolour painting, however she delights in breaking those rules and has developed many techniques to produce fascinating effects using this medium.

Feedback from someone who has already attended one of Ruth's workshops: "I have really enjoyed the last 2 watercolour sessions with you. It's great trying all the different techniques & doing new things. I love also the way you are so at ease with us all, this makes it fun, which is what it is all about. Really looking forward to the next one."

£45 for the course. Lunch can be provided for an additional £8. Alternatively, feel free to bring a packed lunch.
