Hall Barn and the surrounding grounds provide a truly versatile venue that transforms for a variety of uses: weddings, parties, celebrations, wakes, training, meetings, talks, poetry, dances, conferences, youth groups, performances, yoga, dining, and more!
Hall Barn is an event space a few hundred feet up the track from the Old School House, which consists of two converted agricultural barns, united to form a large hall, meditation chapel, reception/foyer, kitchenette/bar, toilets (including accessible), two showers, and storage space. These embrace a courtyard with a fountain and statue of Tobias and the Angel by Ken Thompson. Next to Hall Barn there is an orchard, and undulating Radnorshire hills and valleys stretch away with picturesque views in all directions.
The dimensions of Hall Barn are: Height (to the beams) 11’ 10”, Width 17’ 7” and Length 38’ 8”. The capacity is circa 80, depending on the scope of the event. The orchard, courtyard and surrounding grounds can be used as part of the barn space, with the orchard sometimes used for camping, and there is plenty of space for parking. The adjoining Meditation Chapel, can serve as a green room, a quiet place, or a secure lockable space during events.
It is powered by a pellet boiler, and there are electrical points throughout. The kitchenette facilities include a sink, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettles, a two-ring electric hob, crockery and cutlery. There are tables of various sizes available to use, and chairs and benches.
We often operate in partnership with Sugar and Spice, caterers who can provide delicious food from a variety of cuisines whilst also accommodating special dietary needs without compromising on taste. Other local caterers can be recommended if desired, and basic catering can be provided by the Bleddfa Centre.
