Find Your Silence at Bleddfa

“And you.
When will you begin
that long journey
into yourself? When??”
(Rumi)

Reading this recently led me to reflect how I began my own journey a long time ago, and how I am still journeying. The more I travel, the more I find stillness at the heart – one of the paradoxes of the spirit - though the landscape of the soul has its own challenges.

James Roose-Evans’ books ‘Inner Journey Outer Journey’ and ‘Finding Silence’ are both travel books, in a way, on the interior life. James is not a guide who tells you what you will find when you get there, if there is a ‘there’ (can you imagine a TripAdvisor of the soul?) but he is someone who encourages, inspires and invites you yourself to make and continue that journey.

With his ‘Finding Silence’ as a starting point, my day retreat in October offers space, within the lovely atmosphere of the Bleddfa Centre, for your own inner journeying and discovery.

Bleddfa has a stock of one of the rarest and most valuable commodities in today’s world: silence.

Come and find some for yourself.
