Open Day and Apple Tree Blessing

wild-apple.jpgOn Saturday 19th September, you are cordially invited to join us in the Orchard and Hall Barn, for the afternoon, to celebrate the harvest season. We hope to offer up our blessings and prayers for a fruitful and bountiful year for us all; increasing awareness of the Centre, encouraging deeper connections, and offering an inclusive and welcoming place for all.

We are inviting all Bleddfa residents, our volunteers, supporters and anyone who would like to spend the afternoon with us! There is plenty of space in the Orchard and Barn to ensure we are adhering to COVID regulations.

There will be teas, coffees and cakes, available for a donation, a local ladies choir singing in the Courtyard, and paper tags for you to write your blessings, or wishes, for our apple trees, our communities, and our families. You can write your blessing or wish, and then tie it to the trees in the orchard. There is a link between the artistic and the spiritual nature of trees. The symbology of their roots, branches and fruits, connecting us to the earth, and to each other, through the Tree of Life.

We will be available to meet and chat with you about our hopes and dreams, not only for the Centre, but for the all who have a connection, or wish to make a connection, with it.

We hope that you will come and mingle, meet old friends and new, suggest activities that you would like to see at Bleddfa, and find out about the programme we have planned so far. You can also visit our current exhibition, browse the Craft Shop, and perhaps treat yourself at the cafe.

If you wish, you can also sign up as a Friend of Bleddfa, and optional membership for anyone wishing to help us sustain our core aims as a Centre for the Creative Spirit.

We are also very happy to hear from anyone who would like to book an exhibition, run a workshop, perform a play, or book a musical night here at the Bleddfa Centre too. The Centre is here for the community, please do come and soak up the beautiful atmosphere.

Most importantly, we would simply like for you to come and relax for the afternoon, sit and chat over tea and homemade cake, and enjoy the wonderful views.

If you would like any more information, or to offer a donation of a homemade cake, please email Emma at hello@bleddfacentre.org

We look forward to seeing you then, please invite your friends and family; we will be welcoming visitors to the event between 1 pm and 4 pm.

With all our very best wishes,
The Bleddfa Team
